Initial Ideas

Films that we closely focused on for initial ideas was 'L'Homme du Train' and also 'There Will Be Blood'.
For initial ideas of location for our thriller opening there were five undecided locations:
1. Castle Meadow Alleyway
2. Cattle Market Street
3. Train Station
4. Elms Street
5. Cowgate/Bishopgate

I also thought about how we we're intending to introduce the character into the scene. Ideas that i thought of were such things like:
1. Being on the phone
2. Buying something
3. Waking up
4. Running away from something allowing a close up on the face and also the footsteps.

To begin with it was decided that the female lead would be:
Glamourous
Sexy
Sophisticated
Wearing red lipstick
This was later changed and the woman became much inferior to the male lead and was to be displayed as more of a victim than in control.

The male lead was to wear:
A suit
Should be well-groomed
Dark hair
Mysterious
Dominant.
